Recently, at the First Aid Training Base of Yiwu Blood Center, 47 trainees were awarded the Certificate for Red Cross First Aider after completing the massed learning of first aid knowledge. At that point, the training of 3,050 Red Cross first aiders, one of the tasks in the ¡°Ten Major Actual Deeds Concerning People¡¯s Livelihood¡± of Zhejiang in 2024, was completed ahead of schedule.
In the learning process, the trainees not only learned about the basic knowledge of first aid for choking, wound hemostasis and others, but also mastered various practical skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, AED defibrillation, and Heimlich Maneuver.
In recent years, the Red Cross has actively organized and carried out activities such as introducing first aid knowledge into schools and communities (rural areas), which effectively enhanced the people¡¯s awareness of first aid and upgraded their self-rescue and mutual rescue skills.
Yiwu Red Cross Society hereby calls on more citizens to learn about first aid and master first aid skills. If you want to become a Red Cross First Aider, learn and master first aid skills, you can sign up through the ¡°Learn First Aid in Zhejiang¡± mini program. |
