Recently, in the Yiwu Express (Cross-border) Supervision Center, workers were quickly transferring the cross-border commodities on the container trucks docking at the unloading platform to the intelligent conveyor belt. After examined by Yiwu Customs, these packages would be on their way to the destinations all around the world.
The data provided by Yiwu Customs displayed that in the first half of this year, the cross-border e-commerce shipments of Yiwu exceeded 8.79 million consignments weighting over 1,017 tons, realizing the ¡°Reverse Overseas Shopping¡± from ¡°Made in China¡± to ¡°Selling to the World¡±. Another data provided by the Yiwu Market Development Committee was also inspiring: In the first half of this year, the transaction volume of cross-border e-commerce in Yiwu reached 76.289 billion yuan, an increase of 18% year on year, and the retail sales of cross-border e-commerce reached 31.362 billion yuan, an increase of 23.03%.
