On August 26, with a loud whistle, the first ¡°Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe¡± freight train (Russia-Yiwu), loaded with 152 TEUs of slabs and other goods, entered China successfully via Suifenhe Port in Heilongjiang. Thus, the ¡°Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe¡± freight trains (Yiwu Platform) welcomed a new entry and exit port following the seven ports of Alashankou, Horgos, Irkeshtam, Manzhouli, Erenhot, Pingxiang and Mohan and realize the passage in ¡°four directions through eight ports¡±, further intensifying the railway network.
The opening of the channel via Suifenhe Port is an important measure for the high-quality development of ¡°Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe¡± freight trains (Yiwu Platform) in 2024. The first freight train of ¡°Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe¡± freight trains (Yiwu Platform) entering China via Suifenhe Port in Heilongjiang is expected to arrive at Yiwu West Railway Station on August 31.
