Recently, the Trademark Office of China National Intellectual Property Administration announced the latest statistics of county trademarks of 2024, and the effectively registered trademarks of Yiwu numbered 205,000, ranking first in the county-level cities of China.
In recent years, Yiwu Administration for Market Regulation put emphasis on developing enterprises through high-£¦#118alue intellectual property, deeply implemented the strategy of boosting the market through intellectual property, effectively supported the innovation-driven development, strengthened the protection of intellectual property in the whole chain, comprehensively built the intellectual property protection and management system, and took multiple measures to promote the development of intellectual property of Yiwu. As a result, the number of effectively registered trademarks of Yiwu has maintained a sustained and rapid growth and Yiwu¡¯s status of being the ¡°leader¡± in trademark holdings in county-level cities has been further strengthened.
In 2023, Yiwu investigated and dealt with more than 730 intellectual property cases. The amount of money involved in the cases exceeded 9 million yuan and the fines and confiscations exceeded 15 million yuan. |
